Isle of Bute

WHERE

I travelled to the former holiday resort of Rothesay on the Isle of Bute in Scotland to see if it still retained any of its former glory.

WHAT

Over the past two decades The Isle of Bute has lost a large portion of its national tourism – it has however preserved the large majority of its stunning neo-gothic architecture.

WHY

As a Scottish national I frequently visited Rothesay for a variety of holidays. These photographs are often reminiscent of my parents’ holiday photographs.
