Það er rúsínan í pylsuendanum

“Or in English, The Raisin at the End of the Hotdog – a phrase learnt whilst visiting Iceland in 2013. Through several unforeseen circumstances my friends and I found ourselves driving around Iceland’s single circular road which covers the entire Island. We were attempting to cross the Island from Reyjakvik to reach the small coastal town of Seyðisfjörður. We knew little of the town, simply it’s location. Following two days of travel we approached the town, and were overwhelmed by it’s beauty and simplicity; the high rising fjords reflecting on to the still beginnings of the Norwegian Sea. In other words, the raisin at the end of the hotdog.”
